ParkPing is operated by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our marketing website, mobile web app, and QR scan messaging service (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
The data controller for ParkPing is Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd. ParkPing is operated by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd. "Sylnix" is our company and product brand name.
We are based in Pakistan. The Service is operated from Pakistan and is not currently directed at residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We do not have an EU Article 27 representative at this time. We will appoint one if and when we are required to do so under applicable law, for example before targeted marketing in those regions.

The marketing website and web application use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic (such as page views, approximate location, device type, and browser). GA4 does not receive your message content, account email, or QR scan session identifiers. Data collection described below for account and messaging features occurs when you sign up as a vehicle owner, sign in, scan a QR code, or send or receive messages.
ParkPing is operated by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd from Pakistan and is initially focused on users in Pakistan. Our infrastructure may be located outside Pakistan, including in Germany and the European Union through our hosting provider, and email and push providers may process data in other countries.
Users outside Pakistan may access the Service. If you use ParkPing from another country, local mandatory consumer and privacy laws may still apply to you. We may publish additional regional notices when we launch in specific countries. Governing law for the Service is described in our Terms of Service, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
Most scanners do not create accounts and we do not ask for name, email, or phone number.
We assign an anonymous session identifier stored in a cookie (parkping_scanner) so you can continue a conversation on the same device. The cookie may last up to 30 days.
If you are signed in as a ParkPing member and contact another vehicle, we also store your account ID on that scanner session so you can open the conversation in your app Sent inbox. The other vehicle owner sees a ParkPing member indicator, not your email or phone number. Message text and threads are otherwise handled the same as for anonymous scanners and are retained as described in section 10 until you request deletion or we remove them under our policies.

ParkPing is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy, subject to applicable law.
