These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ParkPing, including our marketing website, web application, and QR messaging service (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, signing in, scanning a QR code, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ParkPing lets vehicle owners receive anonymous messages from people who scan a QR code placed on a vehicle. Owners can reply through a web inbox and optional push notifications. Scanners can send preset or custom messages without sharing phone numbers through the Service.
ParkPing is not an emergency service. Do not use it to report crimes in progress, medical emergencies, fires, or situations requiring immediate public safety response. Call local emergency services instead.
We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered, read, or answered within any particular time. Delivery depends on network conditions, device settings, and owner availability.
To create an owner account, you must:
You may maintain only one account per person unless we authorize otherwise in writing. You may not create an account using false information or on behalf of another person without permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at parkping@sylnix.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or refuse registration if we reasonably believe an account is fraudulent, abusive, or violates these Terms.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required. Content you send through the Service may be reviewed when necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to reports, or comply with law.
To report abuse, harassment, or illegal content, email parkping@sylnix.com with the vehicle label, approximate time, and a description of the concern. We review reports and may suspend access or remove content where appropriate.
If you are a vehicle owner using ParkPing, you agree that:
Scanners may use the Service without creating an account. Before sending a message, you must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy using the on-screen control shown on the scan page. Use the Service only for legitimate communication related to the parked vehicle. Do not use anonymity to engage in abuse or illegal conduct.
ParkPing is currently offered during a validation and early-access phase. Features, limits, and availability may change without notice.
We may add, modify, or remove features, impose usage limits, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Where reasonable, we will try to provide notice of material changes.
The Service, including software, design, branding, QR layouts, and documentation, is owned by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The "ParkPing" name and related branding are owned by Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd.
You retain any rights you have in content you submit through the Service (such as message text). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service.
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. During the validation phase described in Section 7, the Service is also provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that messages will reach any particular recipient.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) PKR 10 if the Service is free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sylnix SMC Pvt Ltd and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that courts located in Pakistan will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at parkping@sylnix.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
